Acres of glass for a full 360 degree view of the road. Beautiful simulated wood side paneling. Is it humanly possible to make a car more ugly? Not happy to just hit this with the ugly stick, AMC drove this through the entire ugly forest. The ad slogan was "you only ride like a Pacer if you're wide like a pacer". This started out to be quite a revolutionary car for its day (rack & pinion steering, electronic ignition, rotary engine, front wheel drive). Then this came out the other end. If you happen to drive one of these, I feel for you. And don't be offended either. Deep down you know its an ugly car.
